For this recipe, make sure to wash your pineapples thoroughly. Start by cutting off the top and scrubbing the skin under running water. You can soak the peel in a mixture of “Veggie Wash” or a simple vinegar and water solution for added cleanliness. Once cleaned, use a pineapple corer to extract the fruit and set it aside, making sure to keep the skins and core, as they will add a fantastic flavor to your tea.

To prepare the tea, start by peeling a knob of ginger and optionally adding a piece of turmeric root.
